Roll Eyes How to wrap hyperlink in narrow table column?

I tried to create a table with table property of fixed column width in Word 2003. However when I copy and paste a long HTML hyperlink in 1 table cell, the column width of the cell automatically adjust to length of hyperlink. So the table looks bloated. How can I make long hyperlink wrap-around multiple lines in a table cell without resizing the column width?

Thanks

Re: How to wrap hyperlink in narrow table column?

Can't you grab the column's handle and shrink it back to the width you want?

Re: How to wrap hyperlink in narrow table column?

Thanks for the reply, but the column handle doesn't budge. That's difficult part. Long hyperlink expands column handle automatically.

Re: How to wrap hyperlink in narrow table column?

Instead of the actual hyperlink, you might have to code it in HTML with a short alias text.

Code:
As in (URL="myurl") alias text (/URL).
Replace the round parentheses in the code above with square brackets.
