MS Office 2007 won't re-install

I have a big problem with MS Office.

I have a DELL laptop and had a problem which the tech could only figure out of solving was by reloading Windows, and as my luck would have it, the problem was solved otherwise and DID NOT require a reload, so I simply restored the image using Acronis True Image Home, and for the most part there was no problem, but when it came to get Office to work, it just didn't, so I thought I would just go to the Control Panel and uninstall from there, which I did, however, it did not remove the program, it is still on my system, but won't work, and when I try to re-install with the disk I get this error:

"Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 encountered an error during setup" and the only option I have is to click on the close button, and I can't seem to be able to find a fix for this problem, I hope that someone here has a clue as to what I can do.

Don't need answer anymore, Dell support helped me out
