Outlook 2003 attachment problem
I have a user that sent a Rich Text email with 7 attachments to several other users in-house. The attachments were arranged in a specific order for a specific purpose:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Everyone recieved the email with the attachments in that order except 1. He received it in the following order (and of course, he is the one that most needed them in the beginning order): 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 Can anyone help with what setting would cause this? We are using Outlook 2003 SP2 on an exchange server. Thank you |

Re: Outlook 2003 attachment problem
How the did the user select the files to attach? Were they selected by clicking on file1, then shift and then click on file7? That will result in the order you have shown. To preserve the order in which to attach, select and attach each file one by one or use click file7 + shift + click file1.

Re: Outlook 2003 attachment problem
rbalaji, thanks for the reply....in this case, they were attached 1 at a time and then moved into the specified order.
The oddest part is that it is only this one individual who receives the email with the attachments out of order. everyone else is fine. I would assume that this is a local user setting, but I have been unable to find anything. |
