Printing Problem, word,, excel

I can print documents fine from ie or notepad using my hp multifunction printer (don't have model number right now). But, when I try to print from word or excel, the last line of the page gets cut off.

The document does'nt even have to be a full page. Even a word doc that is half a page long will cut off the last line when printed. The printer test page prints fine as well.

Please help! I am at my wits end with this problem.

Does the last line appear in print preview? How about if you print out of word or excel into a pdf file (using a pdf printer like primopdf) and then tried to print out the pdf file? Does the last line still get cut off?
