Excel 2007 opens documents itself

Two days ago I installed MS Office 2007. Yes, I have a key. Only one day later, on opening Excel, the program itself opens 20 files that are not Excel files and tries to open some 30 other files that are not Excel files. The files Excel opens have been removed by me but the other files that Excel cannot open because they have another format, I cannot move.

Does anybody have any idea what happens to Excel?? And, more important, what to do.

I already uninstalled and reinstalled, but the problem remians the same.

You may need to remove Excel's registry key and reboot your computer. Make sure to back up your registry first.

The next time Excel starts, it will replace the registry key.
