Printing problems in Microsoft WORD 1997

When I try to print copies of a document on Microsoft Word, the "Print" command in "File" does not work. Microsoft Word just shuts down.

I can print by using the "Print Preview" in "File" and by hitting the "Print Symbol". However, these options only let me print one copy at a time.

I can print normally from my e-mail and items from the internet. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ELIZ70,

I'm not sure if you're referring to Word's Print menu or if you're trying to print from Windows Explorer.

Thanks for your response and the info. I am a beginner, so the info on the website seems pretty confusing to me.

I am trying to print from Word's Print menu.
