Access 2007: Color VB Blues.
Yah, so I'm havin' serious issues tryin' to use "SetValue" and "SetProperty" to change my labels back colors. I'm using macros 'cause I'm no good at VB yet. I've tried being on the form, in design view, and then clicking the "Visual Basic" button under the "Database Tools" tab on the ribbon. When it comes up, I have my "Project" dialog box up and the "Properties" dialog box up. It only shows the name of my database there. I double click the name, right click there and see what there is to try, went through every menu, and still cannot see why my code will not show up. I close Access and open again; still the same problem. I know I've gotten it to come up before, but I don't know why it won't now. I'll just avoid the whole deal if someone can tell me how to use the "SetProperty" command properly with back color. I've tried "#??????", Just the #??????, RGB in NUMEROUS combinations, and I still can't figure out why the number -2147483615 gives me "Text Dark". I don't know the number scheme there. But, I'm rambling.
Let there be an Access Master out there, Tim |
