Outlook 2003 Cannot Start

Hi,

Need help on issue below as I have tried everything & cannot solve the problem.

1. I used to open Outlook 2003 using the icon on my desktop. I got an error
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. The command line argument
not valid. Verify the swtich you are using."

2. I did search all the Newsgroups and Microsoft support site, I still can't
get rid of this error. Either clicking the the Outlook icon on my desktop or
double-clicking C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\Outlook.exe
directly would give me this same error.

3. Also tried start Outlook with Start-->Run-->Outlook and received
same error message. What should I do to get fix this problem? Any
sugestions ?

4. Also attempted to run repair of office. No change. Even tried removing MS Office and then reintalled. Word, Excel PP etc all worked except MS Outlook 2003. Same error message appeared.

5. I also recall that I had used Spybot Search & Destroy
previously which prompted me to change or accept
changes to the registry. I think I started to have this
problem with Outlook soon after.

Cud this be the cause of the whole problem ?

I will appreciate very much your specific instructions
on how to rectify this problem.

I very much look forward to receiving your kind
assistance.
