MS Office 2007 Worked...Now It Doesn't

OK, I'm pretty sure I have tried EVERYTHING to fix my MS Office. I got it from school so it's the student edition.
It worked FINE for the longest time, then one day I try to open an MS Word file and it tells me there isn't enough memory to run Word. Same goes for Excel and all the other office programs.

Thing is, when I log out of my name, and log on to my husband's name, Office opens up just fine. It looks a little weird, but it opens with no problems. By weird, I mean the "office button" is in black and white rather than yellow and red and whatever other color.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. That didn't work.
I've tried re-naming the normal.dotm file. That didn't work.
I've tried the registry instructions from Microsoft.com. That didn't work.

I am out of ideas. Please help me.

Re: MS Office 2007 Worked...Now It Doesn't

Check what you have opening with your start-up. Sometimes those little convenient buttons are for memory hogging applications.

Also check your virtual memory setting. I might need to be increased.

Archiving files you no longer need can help add hard drive space, which will increase the potential virtual memory size.

Also, Defragging can also increase hard drive space by a small amount.

You should also probably check for spyware, adware, and other malwares.

Finally, boot in safe mode and see if Word works. If it works in safe mode, but not in normal mode check the steps in the HijackThis part of TSF.
