Moving back up .pst files from external hard drive
I have a new Dell laptop with Vista that has crashed numerous times. I had used the file/import and export/to a file (on my external hardrive) method and can see the file listed on my external hard drive. I have installed Office Enterprise 2007 (home use program) on my laptop, thinking I would use the same method in reverse to install those files back onto my computer. I have lost everything but about a month's worth of work with all of the crashes, but I am determined not to lose it all again. The system tells me that I do not have permission to do this. I am assuming that I have to go into properties and change something. I am not sure an administrator is declared on my new system, so I am unsure as to how to proceed. Any suggestions??????
Your patient --remedial-- help is greatly appreciated. Regards, Kathleen |
