Error OneNote On Startup ? 2nd Post
Hi can somebody Help me please? This is my second post on this topuic (Last 2weeks ago) and I had no response I guess I was in the wrond Forum so here goes!
![]() On “Startup” I keep getting the “Error Box” on the desktop immediatly after bootup it's described below: Windows cannot open this file: File : OneNote Of Table Contents. To Open This file windows needs to Know What Program Created It Etc, Etc, Etc. I did my fortnight'ly Defraggler, Spybot S&D and CCleaner on my Computer which is what I do every Fortnight and when I strted it up the next morning this was there i don't use One Note don't need it- Period! ![]() This happened once before but I cannot remember who or how I was helped (which Forum) Any advice please I would appreciate it?? Re: Error OneNote On Startup ? 2nd Post
It sounds like OneNote might have added itself to your StartUp. First check the Startup folder in the Program list, and delete anything you don't want to start. (With only 512 Ram, you shouldn't have anything autostart on boot unless you absolutly know you will use it every time you boot.)
If that doesn't help, you might need to edit references to OneNote out of the Registry.
