Insert photos in Access 2003

To insert an image in each field of a table & form. I understand image has to be .bmp. Have used photshop & Paint to convert jpg to .bmp, 16bit, 256colors,24bit. Keep getting "package" instead of "bitmap image". Even tried it in the Northwind db (as the photos of each employee) that comes with all the fields filled in & still doesn't work. Can double click and get it to open only in media player and not the paint product.http://www.techsupportforum.com/imag...4-dontknow.gif Any help?
