Ok, so, I'm running Office 2007 Enterprise on Windows Vista Enterprise. When I try to run either Word or PowerPoint, I get the message "Micorsoft Office has stopped working. Windows can try to recover your information" with the only option being Close the Program. I tried running word in safe mode by hit WinKey+R and Winword.exe /a (its supposed to run word ignoring the Normal.dotm file) and I get the same thing. After some searching, I realize that there is no Normal.dotm in any office related startup folder. So I go to Office's template folder (where a backup is always kept for those who think they're smart enough to manually edit the .dotm file) and placed it in both the program files startup folder and the user app data startup folder. I reboot just to make sure, and I still get the same dern thing......
Any suggestions past this point?
