Cannot access Word File
I am running Windows XP Home Version SP 3 and Word 2003. I have 3 users all with passwords on my computer.
I tried to copy a Word file from one user to my user area(I am the user who set the users and passwords up originally). I clicked and dragged the Word file to a folder in my user area, thinking I was copying it to my area. I went to the folder in my user area and found the file there. I tried to open it in Word but got the following error message: "Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges". I went back to the other user's area and the file was no longer there. It appears to have been moved not copied. I have tried numerous procedures to access and open the file but have had no luck. As I am an Intermediate Beginner I am now at a complete loss. Please help. |
