Unusual increase in file size

Dear all,

I am copying the data in Excel file (file size is 160 KB) to MS Outlook word pad and sending it. And when i receive it, the mail size is shown as 1 MB.

The mail sent only contains the data in the excel file.

Another point is - when i attach the Excel file and send it, the file size is only 160 KB (the original file size). The file doesn't contain any virus also.

Previously, I was not facing this problem. Can anyone figure out why the mail size gets increased....

Regards,

Re: Unusual increase in file size

Ya, i got it.
The problem was it was sending the data in HTML Format.
So, i just change the editor to Rich Text Format.
That's it.
