I lost a bar in Word

I'm not good on understanding Word, but somehow I seemed to have lost a bar with these items on it: the font choice and next to it the size I want the specific font to be, then (as you can see above in this box) the "B"= bold, the"I"=italic, the "U"=underline, align left symbol, align center, align right, the different bullets, the decrease and increase indent symbols, the "undo/redo" buttons, and the colors you can make the font. All of these were on one line.
If someone knows how to retrieve them PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I AM AT MY WITS END AT THIS POINT.

I'm trying to remember my Office 2003/XP

It's either View > Toolbars then pick the one that has the font stuff on it, (I think it might be called "General" or "Standard")

or

Right click somewhere in the grey (no button) area of an existing tool bar and look for a view toolbar command.

Searching for "toolbar" in Help should give you the specific command / actions needed.

This is from "Dinosaur46" regarding my lost tool bar on 10/19/08. Thank you for your advice on how to retrieve it and IT WORKED. I was so excited....thank you again. It's nice to know that people are out there to help.
