Re: Outlook Express
If the unsent emails just stay in the Outbox, try this. Create a new folder or folders and save any messages you have in the Outbox, and save any messages from the Sent Items box... if you have copies there that you want to keep. You can name the folder(s) anything, ie Outbox2, Sent2, Jack and Jill, whatever.
Close OE. Now make sure you have unhidden the hidden files and folders so you can find your OE Identity. You do that in Tools-Folder Options-View in Windows Explorer. You can get there in My Documents. Tick on "show hidden files and folders". Then browse to your OE Identity Folder from C: drive. The path will be something like this: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{FC2754B4-0B46-4750-B69E-C22442E6BD12}\Microsoft\Outlook Express The letters and numbers between { and } will be different for you. Now delete the Outbox and Sent Items.dbx files. They will be recreated when you open OE again. Then you can move the saved messsage back into the new Sent Items and Outbox folders. Open your emails in the Outbox and try sending them again and see what happens.
