Enterprise 2007 install failure

I am trying to do a trial evaluation of enterprise 2007 . Halfway thru the install I get this message
"Setup cannot find Enterprise.WW\EnterpriseWW.msi. Browse to a valid installation source, and then click OK"
This happens on different computers, all with full admin priviledges. A prior post on this topic suggested:

run these commands in command prompt

regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\msxml2.dll
regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\msxml3.dll
regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\msxml4.dll

Install

This did not work for me. This seems to be an occasional issue for some, but I cannot find a solution. I can't test the product if I can't install it. I have not been able to figure out how to get MS support w/o charge. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Enterprise 2007 install failure

Five days later and not one reply. Is there no one from MS with an opinion on how to help here? I am not the first with this very legitimate issue with enterprise form the MS download site. How about it, guys? I can't purchase if I can't evaluate!!!

Re: Enterprise 2007 install failure

There does not seem to be a easy solution for this issue. I have not found anything useful on Google thus I cannot assist in helping you.
Do you have any other office program installed on the computer right now? Maybe removing that one will allow the install of the enterprise 2007

Re: Enterprise 2007 install failure

Thank you for the reply, and I certainly appreciate it. With all due respect, if you can't find anything to help, it would be nice to say so in a timely fashion, rather than responding only when I message you 10 days later. Perhaps you didn't read my problem until I notified you by messaging? Any way, we absolutely need a dialogue on this forum to address this problem, I hope all will agree. How about a reply from other moderators and/or ms tech support related people?
To address your comment,I have office 2003 installed on all computers in question, but I tried removing it and I also tried to install on a fresh system with no luck. I doubt that a preinstalled office is the problem, after all, the point is to upgrade from office 2003 to 2007. How can microsoft be unaware that we can't test office enterprise 2007 legitimately as they offer? Did you check ms for this problem? I searched their web site and found nothing, even though this problem is known to exist.
Surely someone has access to tech support at ms to get this issue resolved. Apparently there is no tech support for trial software, but I will certainly not buy a product that can't be tested as advertised, for fear that the purchased version can't be installed either.
Let's see some activity on this issue.

A pathetic excuse for a forum to help users. Moderators should be ashamed!
