MS Word line space reformat problem
Hi Folks. Hope you can help 'cos it's driving me bats. I have a 200+ page Word document, and it's double-spaced line format. I want to reduce it to single line space, but when I try it leaves huge gaps on pages between the reduced sections that I can't remove.
There don't appear to be any formatting characters present that I can see, and I get the same result if I do even a couple of pages rather than the whole document. I really don't want to have to go through it piece by piece and paste it into another document, but need this reduced to single line spacing quickly! Any idea what is going wrong or how to fix it? My OS is XP64, and I'm using a MS Office XP Pro package 2002. All advice welcome. Many thanks. |
