O2M, Outlook to Mac date problems
Hello,
I am trying to convert mail from outlook to Mac Mail. First I installed Firefox and loaded all mail from Outlook to Firefox, which works fine. Then I copied the firefox files to the mac and imported them. In most cases all mails arrive, but I am missing in total about 300 mails, all relatively recent. There seems to be no pattern, apart from the fact that it just stops importing after a certain date. Then I tried to just drag-and-drop mail in a folder, and from that folder into Entourage, but Entourage does not accept this. So that's a dead end. Then I bought O2M. O2M mixes all dates of the mails up completely. The selection does not work correctly and the mails seem to get rather random dates: 12 March bevomes 12 September and 11 May becomes 11 September. I am Dutch, so maybe the fact that we format our dates like ddmmyyy is an issue. The result is useless. LittleMachines, the supplier, does not come back to me, so I am pretty much desparate. Anyone better ideas? Last edited by gelooff; 09-10-2008 at 05:25 AM. |

There's a couple products that will transfer your Outlook account into Entourage. "Outlook to Entourage" will do this move easily enough (it exports in the RGE format) and they are currently in the beta testing phase. Nice thing about that is that it's free while in beta. Check it out.

Rediculous software - no support, lot of programming errors, pathetic interface - they need to do more beta testing. |
