PS: This fix will only work if you are running on an Exchange Server and Outlook 2002 or greater.
I am an Oracle developer and we have software that uses Outlook to automatically Send emails. Because we are considered 3rd party software to a Microsoft product, the new security feature introduced in Outlook 2002 will prompt users when a 3rd party is trying to access Outlook's address book. This can get anoying at times... There is a work around, although not the simplest to setup for this. If you get the following pop up: "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No". Allow access for <drop down list in minutes>" Someone with Admin privs on the exchange server is also needed to work this out. Instructions and info available at: ht tp://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/HA011364471033.aspx Good luck.
