Hi there,
I'm having this known issue where I can't open OneNote files from the file server properly, getting the notice about needing a password to get into the file. Apparently it occurs because the OneNote sync cache and the offline folders cache get confused. So I want to put these ON files into a non-synced folder on the file server, I guess. If I move the files onto my desktop I can open them fine, but they need to be on the server. If I then put them onto a non-synced folder on the server, it gives me this stupid password error again. I've checked for the onenotecache file on my local machine and nothing found. Of course nothing on the server either. So what is it that's causing this stupid behaviour? It's been months since SP1 came out and they still haven't fixed it. Many thanks, Ferg. |
