Spell Check - Word/Office 2007 not working

Hi all,

I have weird issue with 1 installation of office 2007 Enterprise, deployed via GPO, the spell check and Thersaurus just will not work, I have tried to repair the install, completly un-installed and re-installed and even tried re-installing from disk, still no luck,
I have googled the topic extensively and all proposed fixes just doesn't work, any ideas will be appreciated.

1. Close all Office applications
2. Start > Run
3. Type "cmd" (without quotes)
4. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0 and Rename HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0 to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0OLD
5. Reopen the Office application (Word, Outlook, etc.) and let the application recreate that registry key
