Outlook 2003 send/receive problem
When ever I try to force the send receive by clicking on the s/r(send/receive) button. Nothing happens. I currently have 2 messages in my outbox but neither will process (both under 10MB). I have double checked the settings for the account and have done a Detect and Repair on Outlook. I have updated the software to the latest service pack and still no luck. I have a strong feeling that something corrupted within the the users profile. I have also put the account on another PC and tested sending and it worked fine. I am about to delete the user profile and start over. Thanks for any input.

Re: Outlook 2003 send/receive problem
Are there just these 2 messages stuck in the Outbox and other messages send/receive okay or will no messages at all send/receive?
I would be tempted to: 1. Close Outlook 2. Rename the outcmd.dat and *.srs files for the user (this is toolbar customizations and send receive settings), found at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook to outcmd.datOLD and *.srsOLD 3. Reopen Outlook Last edited by biz_kid1; 08-05-2008 at 12:51 PM. |
