Re: Excel Data reformatted in Word

The method you use to transfer the data will depend upon:
  • How the data is currently arranged in the Excel spreadsheet
  • How the data will be stored in the Word document (mail merge, tables, etc.)

Re: Excel Data reformatted in Word

Hi Dixcee,

If all you're after is to transfer a whole bunch of data to Word, you you use a directory/catalog mailmerge. If you want the data to be incorporated into letters, a standard mailmerge would be more appropriate.

In either case, the actual data layout in Word is something you have total control over, from within Word.
