excel 2003
Hi,
I would like several cells from the same row to be merged into one. The function "CONCATENATE" is doing this. But the problem is that it puts them one after the other, whereas I would like to have a space between them. ex. (those names are in their own respective cells): Acer rubrum trilobum becomes (with the function CONCATENATE): Acerrubrumtrilobum whereas I would like it to be (all in the same cell): Acer rubrum trilobum How can I add a space? I am only aware of a function that gets RID of spaces... Thanks |

Re: excel 2003
Hi and welcome.
You need to add the space using quotation marks - for example =A1&" "&B1&" "&C1 assuming your words were in cells A1, B1 and C1. I would use the ampersand rather than the Concatenate function for this.
