OS: XP SP3 (Black Edition)
|
Hey everyone!
I recently formatted my father's computer, and switched from Vista, to Windows XP SP3 (Black Edition). After I did so, I also downloaded and installed all the drivers needed..ect. After all this, the computer was fine, and was all in working order.. Now, A few days later, I seem to be having an issue with Microsoft Outlook 2003 - It will receive messages fine, but it won't send them out. Also, I know this isn't the right area to get any help for internet issues, but I think I'll throw the rest in here too since it's most definitely a related issue. Any time I try to go to a site.. (About 80% of the sites do this, including Google, Gmail, Hotmail.. Pretty much anything you need to log into) it'll act as if it's starting to load the page.. The bottom loading bar will go to about 50%-75%, but it'll soon after time out, or just completely stop and won't do anything more. I know it's not an issue with the ISP, as the internet works fine on my computer, but not on my father's (keep in mind that they're not working even when hooked up directly to the internet modem). This issue is driving my crazy, and as my father is a company owner, it's absolutely dire that I get this computer working for him ASAP. Any help/information that you guys may have for me will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much in advance! ![]() EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention that I have IE7, Firefox 3 and Opera, yet the sites aren't working on any of those 3.
