Create a Macro to import a Macro....
Hi...
This is my first post in this forum so would just like to say hello to all... Now to my problem... I would like to create a Word macro that will pull in all Macro's and AutoText entries from an old Normal template into a current Normal template. The reason I need to do this is because a new Normal template has been released to all users at my work, therefore causing them all to lose their own macro's. I would ideally like to modify the currently being used Normal template so that a button appears on a toolbar which the users can click, and have all of their macro's be copied in from their old template. The users old templates are all stored in the same place as far as their PC's are concerned (N:\Templates\Normal.bak) as is their current template (N:\Normal.dot). I did play with recording a macro that copied the macro's over from the organiser, however loooking at the code, each macro to be copied is an individual line. If there is some code that you code enter that would copy all items it would probably be alright. As you may be able to tell, I have very little experience with coding. So basically, any assistance, or alternative ideas anyone could throw my way would be greatfully received. |
