Hi, I need help with ms access 97.
I have a table of people called tblagents. I have a form called frmillustrations. I have a report called rptillustrated and I have a query called qryKFIsent. On the form, i have a list of people in a box, the user selects the person they wish to view and then clicks a button. The button then prompts the user to enter the date ranges between that they wish to view details for. My problem is report shows all the peoples info, not just the one for that date range. I tried entering [forms]![frmillustrations]![AgentID] where AgentID is a field in table of agents (set to autonumber) there is also a field called Name with their names (set to text) I also tried entereing [forms]![frmillustrations]![AgentID],[Name] and [forms]![frmillustrations]![Name] nothing seems to work.. Any ideas? |

Re: MS Access 97
Here is some information you might find useful.
Let's suppose that on a form called frmillustrations, you have a field named AgentID, and two date range fields named From_Date and To_Date. To make the report display the records for a selected AgentID where a particular date, say a field named TDate, is within the date range entered on the form, you might set the report's filter to something like: ([AgentID]=[Forms]![frmillustrations]![AgentID]) And ([TDate]>=[Forms]![frmillustrations]![From_Date]) And ([TDate]<=[Forms]![frmillustrations]![To_Date]) (Of course, in the report, Filter On must be set to Yes). Modify as necessary. Last edited by David M58 : 07-15-2008 at 10:32 AM. |
