Visual Basic Editor?
Hello,
I've been attempting to create a macro for Microsoft Outlook 2003 using the Visual Basic Editor, which is accessed from Tools --> Macro --> Visual Basic Editor. What type of programming knowledge is needed to create macros? Is it simply Visual Basic? Because I know that Visual Basic has applications in various Window programs. So how do I learn it for Outlook 2003? I have a book called Visual Basic.Net 2003. Is that suitable? Thank you! |

Re: Visual Basic Editor?
The folks over at Wrox Press have produced some fine publications on this very topic. Here is a link where you can download a sample chapter from Ken Slovak’s Professional Outlook 2007 Programming. This will give you an idea of what kind of things to expect when dealing with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for Outlook.
