Confused Outlook Custom Form Error

I have a user that when trying to open a custom form file from a folder on the network drive gets the error message:

"The Custom Form could not be opened,
Outlook will use an outlook form instead"

If he logs onto another computer then it works fine.

On my computer the error also occurs, so i started working on the theory of if i can fix mine then the same fix can be used on his.

So far clearing the form cache within Outlook has not helped, I am a local admin on my machine, I have checked my access to the software Registries (I ahve full access) and the problem still persists.

Also manually searching the C: drive and deleting the "frmcache.dat" file has not helped the issue.

Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Outlook Custom Form Error

Just to check, make a new Custom Form on your HDD then open it, if you can do this it could be a problem with the Custom Form on your network folder.

Re: Outlook Custom Form Error

Can create and publish a new one without any issues, but trying toopen it again you get the same error. It's the same error with all the custom forms, and I know it's definitely an issue local to the machine as I can log onto other machines and access the forms OK.
