recieved emails disapear in Outlook 2003

Hi

I am using outlook 2003 on windows XP

When I hit send/recieve it shows messages 1 of x downloading and then only a few messages appear. For example to day it said 1 of 4 and only 3 appeared.

I have checked I am viewing messages in my current view settings, I don't have anything going in to my junk mail folder, there are no messages left on my server.

I use this for business and am worried about missing emails what can I do?

I have avaast and spysweeper on my computer but there is nothing in the quarantined folders on spysweeper.

I hope someone can help !

Log into your email account through your Webmail option. Possible that one of the messages trying to download is corrupted and "plugged up in the pipe".
