Confused what is this and how to correct it..

Hi while working with MS-word the information was saved as normal.
When opened there was 2 pages of text like this. can any one help or explain what it is and how to convert it back in to English..

Looks like perhaps the file is corrupted or you're viewing a .doc file with a text editor. Don't think you are necessarily, but that's what it looks like.

Try to open in word file formatt,

As i see here, file has been corrupt or else you have opened in different file in different formatt.

check the file extension like - .doc/txt/etc...

I need more information, like.
1. What is the file extension you have saved the document.
2. Are you working on office 2003/2007..?
3. Or else send the same document attached to my mail id - mani_k25@yahoo.com
