Publisher 97 - URGENT

Does anyone know how to recover an overwritten publisher 97 file?

Friend of mine said "yes" to overwrite the existing and desperately needs to undo it.

I know the undo button won't undo saves in 97.

Re: Publisher 97 - URGENT

Hi shamaroo,

Just a couple of suggestions but in all honesty I don't think you can undo the change if you've saved the change and the file has been closed since.

Have you tried using a more modern version of Publisher and tried to undo? Doesn't sound promising to me.......

What about a System Restore to a point before it was done? I don't have XP so I don't know if you can restore 1 particular folder for instance, as opposed to the whole system.

Good luck
