Outlook 2003 IMAP winmain.dat

I have a lap top at our corparation that is only receiving emails say "this is a test" and has an attatchment of winmail.dat. this has been happening with all of this users emails since yesterday around 2pm. there must be at least 50 instances of this now. please help if anyone knows where i can start with this.

Hi,

This is Mani from Bangalore, india.

If a user send mail in HTML formatt in exchange server, we get a an attached as winmain.dat,

user has to send in RichText or PlainText to resolve it.
Tools - Options - mial formatt - change it to Rich/Plain.

any suggestions / resolutions - plz post.

thank you for the post, that was the resolution! It was only happening to the emails with attachments, so after hunting on google for a little bit i came across that solution. thanks again.
