Word 2003 Global Template Won't Load
I've recently moved a template that creates a specific set of menus from Word 2000 to Word 2003. I know that the startup location for global templates have changed with Word 2002/3. However, if I place the template with an Autoexec in the OFFICE11\Startup Directory or the username\Application Data\Word\Startup, the macro fails to be included for the add-in. I can attach it through the tools --> templates-add-ins, but that only works for the duration that word is open. If another user opens word, the macro is not available. I've tested the autoexec through the VB editor and it works as predicted. What am I missing? Why does the template not work in either startup location?
Thanks Bill |
