I think I have this problem narrowed down to a conflict with my outlook 2003 settings and Outlook express. here is the long version.
I sent an email to 5 people within my company. I attached a zip file of 200kb. Everyone received the email. 1 person did not receive the attachment. It was not blocked, it simply was no where to be found. I had it sent from someone else in the office to him and they received it fine. I sent it from my AOL account and he received it. I sent it from the original account BUT from webmail, and he received it. I sent it from outlook express, from same account/ same computer and he received it. I again sent it from outlook 2003 to him....and NO ATTACHMENT! I turned off my norton virus email scanner, as well as his.....and NO ATTACHMENT! At this point it is just the principle of the thing. It makes no sense to me what in the world could be stripping the attachment to that 1 person. It is not only the zip file. I cant send him ANY Attachments. If anyone has any thoughts please respond. Again he does get attachments from other people...other people using outlook 2003. He just cannot get attachments from me specifically. Makes absolutely no sense. |

Re: Outlook Express 6.0 lost attachments
I have also been having this problem sending from Windows Outlook 2002 (Microsoft Windows XP) to my wife and sister who each use Outlook Express (one on Windows 98, the other on Windows XP). Everyone else in the distribution list receives the attachments just fine, but for them it's like the attachments never existed.
I, too, would love to see a solution. |
