WMV in Powerpoint Rewinds to first frame
Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this.
What I want: I would like to import a Google Earth video into Powerpoint, and have the video end or freeze on its last frame, then add textbox fade-ins, etc. in the animation pane as "Start After Previous." What I am doing: I use Google Earth to create a wmv, then import the movie onto a blank slide in PPT-2007 (insert->movie->movie from file), play automatically. What is happening: The import works fine, but when the movie is done playing, it "rewinds" to the first frame. What I have tried: Making sure "rewind when done" is not checked (it's not, but it still happens), using AVI and MPG formats (still happens), converting last frame of movie to pic and putting on next slide (transition takes a long time and looks terrible) Why I need it: The Google movie zooms from one location to the next, giving the viewer perspective as to how far away they are from one another, etc. The presentation is about each of the locations, so there has to be a pause at each location where bullet points can be displayed. If I zoom in to the first location from a height of one mile, I end up having to talk about it from the one mile height, because the last frame of the movie will not stay put. ---- I certainly do appreciate any help or information you can provide, and thank you again for taking the time to read this. Thanks! |
