Word cannot open document C:\Documents And Settings
This only happens if I click a document to open word. Not if I click word and open the document from there.
I get an information box saying: Microsoft Word Word cannot open the document. Try one or more of the following: On file menu, click open the open the document. Make sure the document has a .doc extension (C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS.... This is followed by 2 more error notices that read the same but have different locations. Microsoft Word The document name or path is not valid. Try one of the following: Check th path to make sure it was typed correctly. On the file menu, click open. Search for the file using this dialog box....... When I click on the above 2 error notices, it finally opens the document I clicked on originally and works flawlessly. Microsoft Word has worked perfectly since I purchased this computer (E Machines) in 2003. I don't have a clue what is wrong. Thanks. ELIZ70 |
