Outlook email address help
Could someone please assist me with regards to the above. Every day
since about Thursday last week I come in and none of my addresses have saved so each time I send an e-mail I need to type out the full e-mail address out again. Not sure why this is happening but Im not finding it quite frustrating. If you can offer any assistance this would be appreciated |

Re: Outlook email address help
Hi Badboy,
Not sure about the outlook configuration you're using (Exchange, POP3, ...) but outlook quick contacts are saved into a nk2 file. You can try to delete the file and see if it gets recreated once you send out another mail. ATTENTION : when you delete this file, you will lose all contacts you already have. There are paying tools to manage this file manually but I'm not sure that is what you wanna do. Tell me if you need more info or if I read 'the above' not correctly. Kind regards, Stumpy |

Re: Outlook email address help
Hello,
Try: Tools>Options>Preferences tab>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options> Check the "Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields" box and click Ok. If this is already checked then you may just need to keep reentering names until Outlook remembers it. Thanks |
