Yahoo Email and Outlook
If I stop using Outlook to run my Yahoo Premium Email will I loose all my messages that are now in Outlook?

Hi clayartist, as far as I am aware you will not loose them if you just let Outlook sit there. If you change the settings for another account it might. To make sure it would be good practice to archive or save the messages.

Even if you stop using the Outlook, the mails that are already there in the inbox will remain there as long you don't remove the inbox or format your system.
If its a POP3 account that you have with yahoo then even if you delete the account the inbox won't be affected. If you have selected the option "Leave a copy of the Message on the server" then all the mails will be there on the yahoo server. You can copy the inbox and back it up for future use (Let me know if you want to know how to do that) |
