Delete automatic line in Word

When you enter '_' three times in succession, word creates a line for you like '__________________________'..

How the heck do you get rid of it? I still haven't figure it out after so long.

You can't highlight the line and press 'del' for example.

To clarify, I don't mean to rid of the automation, rather the line itself.
