Image being removed from signature file when receiving

Our company has an image inserted into the signature block. Recently I've noticed that the image is being removed from received emails. The signature looks fine before sending. I've checked all settings relating to automatic downloading of images and can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure if I can help but we do need to know what email client and version you are using.

We are using Outlook 2003. As stated before, it just started occurring in the last couple of weeks. I suspect a Service Pack is the culprit
