Trouble installing MS Office 2007

I'm trying to install MS office 2007 (received from Microsoft)delivered, I uninstalled the old version (office 2000) but when I try to install I gtt the following message..."Setup can't find excel.en-us\excel|LR.cab...browse to a valid source.

Can any one help me properly install this? I am running windows XP.

Have a browse around the CD or do a search on the drive for the file then when it asks you to locate it, find the file in the installation setup
