Start Excel Condition Code:2

Help. When I try to run Excel now, I get a message window popup saying
Condition Code: 2 and Excel will not open.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to TSF.

Must admit I've never heard of that error code - what version of Excel are you using? Have a look at the options here

You could also try a Detect and Repair - note that you may need your Office CD.

Thanks for the reply. I am using Excel 2003 with SP2 currently.

What is the detect and repair tool? And how do you access it off the CD? Is it an exe file you run?

You can run it from within Excel itself. On the menu bar Help > Detect & Repair.
