Spell Checking Problem - Outlook Express 6

I am running Windows XP Home SP with the latest SP updates
Using Outlook Express 6

OE6 asks for the Picture It! 9 CD, looking for a pi9.msi file whenever I try to SEND email. I've googled the issue and found numerous sites/forums suggesting the csapti3.dll file is the issues. I followed the instruction to delete and replace this file with the one found in the i386 folder on the XP CD without success.

I have MS Works 9.0 installed on my system. OE6 should be able to use it's spell checker...but it's apparently not configured properly.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in. There isn't one for OE.

I searched a number of the MS Support forums and couldn't find this topic discussed in any of them.
