Outlook Permission folder

I am trying to create a rule for emails, when I do it says I cannot because I do not have permission to the folder. I have done this in the past without any problems. I am sure there is a setting somewhere that I need to change, but I am not listed as the Owner of any folders, and I am the only user on Outlook. Any ideas.

Just finished running test...No errors found

Is there any kind of setting that may have been changed that would cause this?

Re: Outlook Permission folder

Obviously something went south with these folders, but the question is 'what?'... Anyhow, create a new folder and then attempt creating a rule that would refer to that new folder. See if it works; if it does, then you'll simply need to re-create all the erratically behaving folders anew.

Thats was one of initial thoughts, I had the same results as previous attempts.

Re: Outlook Permission folder

Update: I still cannot create a rule by the main screen, I did find that going into the rules wizard I can create the rule though. It is a little lengthier process but can be done. So I can organize my folders still. That being said I would still like to know why the main screen will not work and why I do not show as folder owner or have access to view folder permissions.

Any other ideas?
