Re: Printing Problem with MS Word

The size of the page of the dotmatrix paper and the size of the paper in your document do not match. Measure the size of your dotmatrix page, and then set it at File > Page Setup > Paper tab > Width & Height.

Re: Printing Problem with MS Word

Most dot-matrix printers have their own internal printer driver setting for margins. Obviously your dot-matrix printer's settings interfere with your Word page-setup settings for this document. You can try setting the Height to a smaller number and then experiment a bit (trial/print and error/bin) until you get the desired result.

By the way (since you've asked), you can select File > Print without having to input a specific paper size.

Moreover, have a look at Page borders may be displayed or printed incorrectly in Word.
