[SOLVED] help with outlook 2003!
How do i alphabetize the contacts by last name in the "to", "cc" and "bcc" fields?! It used to do it automatically on our old computer, but since we got a new one its all alphabetized by fist name in those fields.

Re: help with outlook 2003!
This properly arranged my contacts in the normal contact section, but when it came to writing a new message and selecting names they still appears as first last not last, first. How can I alter this?

Re: help with outlook 2003!
Sorry, I'm currently away from my Outlook 2003 and I'm just trying to remember by heart... What happens if you also change the Default "Full Name" order (to be found in the same way, as mentioned above), too?

Re: help with outlook 2003!
Sorry, my bad so far - for the key lies in the (different) way Outlook treats the two entities it uses for keeping and retrieving email addresses from; i.e. the Contacts and the Address Book.
One thing you can do is open your (existing) contact cards one by one, and manually change the 'Display As' information. Then, click Tools > E-Mail Accounts > select 'View or change existing directories or address books' > click Next > select the applicable Address Book(s) > click Change > change the 'Show names as' option > hit Close > click Finish. Change how names are displayed in the Address Book Outlook Address Book: Frequently Asked Questions And from the OL2003 Help: Quote:
