Why does MS Office 2003 slow down my PC?
I have a new, very fast, PC with Vista Home Premium. When I installed MS Office 2003 my PC was significantly slowed down when opening certain folders such as Windows Explorer, my external backup hard drive directory, etc. For example, before installing MS Office 2003 my C drive directory opened instantaneously. After installing MS Office 2003 it takes about 12 seconds. How can I correct this?

sincfe u have a powerful pc, ms office will not affect ur computer that much. try defragementing your hard drive by selecting start>acccessories>system tools> disk defregmenter
